Program Overview
The International Hospitality Management MicroMasters program offers a new way of nurturing talents for the dynamic global hospitality industry.
This program is designed to develop leaders for the global hospitality industry. You will gain in-depth knowledge about the luxury market, the latest technologies in the field, and the best marketing, human resources, and other important business practices.
You will learn through a blend of strategic perspectives and pragmatic implementation, problem identification, and decision-making, as well as interdisciplinary theories and management applications.
If you want to further your education, your MicroMasters program certificate can fast track your study for the on-campus Master of Science in International Hospitality Management, International Tourism, and Convention Management or International Wine Management degree at a fraction of the cost.

Basak Denizci Guillet, Ph.D.
Dr. Basak Denizci Guillet is an Associate Professor in the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She received her BSc, MSc, and PhD. from Bilkent University, University of Massachusetts (Amherst), and Pennsylvania State University, respectively.
Sangwon Park, Ph.D.
Dr. Sangwon Park is an Associate Professor in the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He received his BSc from Sangji University in Korea, and MSc and Ph.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia and Temple University in the USA, respectively.
Markus Schuckert, Dr. rer.soc.oec.
Dr. Markus Schucker is an Associate Professor in the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. With his multi-industry background, Markus’ research focuses on the role of luxury in tourism and hospitality, digital marketing and branding for hotels, and non-traditional accommodations as well as on Chinese guests and China outbound tourism.
Alice Hon, Ph.D.
Dr. Alice Hon is an Associate Professor in the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She received her BA, MPhil, and Ph.D. from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, City University of Hong Kong, and Hong Kong Baptist University, respectively.
Dan Wang, Ph.D.
Dr. Dan Wang is an Associate Professor in the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She received her BSc, MPhil, and Ph.D. from East China Normal University, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Temple University, respectively.
